George Violettas

PhD

  • About

    George Violettas acquired his Ph.D. titled "Next Generation Network Control and Security for the Internet of Things" in 2021 from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds an M.Sc. Degree in Applied Informatics from the same University and a 4-yrs Bachelor in Computer Science from the Hellenic Open University. He is currently a lecturer at Alfaisal University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was the Head of the ICT Department & Senior Lecturer at the Applied Engineering College (former Technical Trainers College) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has worked for more than 25 years as a Project Manager for big-scale Wireless Networks for the private sector and the Greek government. He currently works with NECOS OC2 (H2020), and he has also worked in UNIC OC4 FED4FIRE+, WiSHFUL OC2 (H2020), and MONROE OC2 (H2020), as a senior researcher.
